Effectively Managing Your Agency's New Priority Performance Goals

When the 2010 GPRA Modernization Act was signed into law, it required that agencies work with the Office of Management and Budget to establish and make measureable progress on Priority Performance Goals. The legislation emphasizes the use of “performance information to lead, learn, and improve outcomes; communicate performance coherently and concisely; and strengthen problem-solving networks to improve performance management practices.” In this webinar, jointly presented by The Performance Institute and ActiveStrategy, you’ll hear how one of the largest federal agencies, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, has gotten a “jump start” on this effort and is already using a combination of leadership, change management, and technology to effectively manage program performance.
